Sania Mirza will be making history when she goes out to play her first WTA event after a long lay-off. She will be the first Indian tennis player to go into a WTA event as top seed.

The Morocco open begins tomorrow and is a $145,000 prize winning clay court event. Sania will take part in the womens double even too and is seeded first in that too. She will partner American Vania King and will take on Alla Kudryavtseva and Olga Savchuk.

Sania’s singles opponenent is not decided yet since she will be taking on a qualifier who will be adjudged today. Lets wish Sania best of luck for her comeback!
